I just got a s2 rear bumper through ebay uk for 10 pounds........ :thumbsup:
too bad its 89 to ship it.......hopefully my only splurge with this basic build......
the rear bumper always bugged me so I had to do it.....

ah yes, an update.....
so I got the balls to use a credit card again........
I couldn't wait for the aan motronic and harness any longer, so I went for it...(I should have it sometime and it will be for sale if anyone is interested)
sent out my IIa today to 034 to be upgraded to a IIc along with a plug in harness they are making me. also got the throttle body spacer so I can run stock powersteering pump location and a intercooler pipe kit......
my fuel rail and intercooler are at my buddy's shop being modified and welded...problem with the buddy though, he's laggin.....oh well, no need as of yet...
I'm about to get a new fender, rear seat backing, center consoles, glovebox, and over knee box......and a dash from RJ
(looked into the shipping yet?)

I had bought a s2 downpipe from josh and then right after I wired him the money, I found a little piece of the stock ur downpipe that I didn't know I had......and since he didn't send it, I'm an indian giver...(but only at his discretion as he already had the money) thanks mate......

I thought I was getting a rear bumper from uk but a front ended up here posing me with a dilema...I can't make up my mind......
I like the s2 bumper.......with stock coupe hood and grill
I like the rs2 bumper.......with b4 hood and grill...
heres some pics, help me decide....

the s2 bumper without the b4 grill sitting down on it, (how I would have it with this bumper as I would rid the b4 hood)

and here is a pic with the b4 hood, ( I don't like the b4 hood with the s2 bumper)

and here is the rs2 bumper with b4 hood....
until I put the s2 bumper on to look at it I never had a thought against the rs bumper, I loved the look.....
but now the rs2 bumper sticks out too much compared to the s2 one......

the dark blue car in the pic a few posts above looks so clean....kinda pug nosed, just as the rear looks with the oem s2 rear.........

two completely different front ends that I love equally....... :frustrated: :? :wtf:

so which one do I do???????

on the bright side either way I go, I got a tradie for a s2 rear... :woowoo:

man i never got over to to the shop where the 80 is to grab that dash, i promise im goin tihs weekend though. i'll get it wrapped up and take to UPS to see how much shipping will be on monday. cant imagine it'll be too much

Just an FYI, that first bumper is not an S2 bumper. This is...

Notice the lip at the bottom compared to yours.

ahhh yes, that lip is farther down than the one I have.....
and that one looks better with the b4 hood than mine....
I still like the one I have because it doesn't have hte license plate indentions....
but still far from making up mind.........thanks for the heads up though.....

so after harsh analasys I have decided to keep the front end that I have now...
my wife likes the one now better, so I can't fight with her no matter how much I do want to do the other clean subtle front end....

anyone interested in the s2(or euro b4 coupe) front bumper...I paid 200.00 with shipping included from the uk, I'll sell it for the same with the addition of shipping if anyone is interested......
or a trade for a euro rear bumper............

little update..
I have another s2 rear bumper on its way (hopefully it'll be the rear),
also with that have s2 hubs, wheel bearings, and g60 brakes....400.00 for the whole thing, couldn't pass it up...
all else I am just waiting on still.......

so the abt's are up for sale since I now have to get some 5x112's.....
two sets on ebay ending soon I am debating, 17 in light wheels or 18 in somewhat light wheels, but with tires.....(18 might be too big for me though)

17x8 bbs (not too fond of the dark with polished lip look)

I was doubting they are abt because on the center cap it says msw, and on the inside it says 0Z...but then on the lip there is a faint sportsline written.........
I also had to measure the width of the rim because the tires are 215's, didn't think a 215 would look like that on a 8 in wheel......well the width from inner lip to outer lip is 9 in...........boggles my mind.........

nice project, im glad you decided to finish it. too bad i wasnt looking at posts a while ago. i have an AAN harness. but IIc will work great.
